Waste charges for schools, charities and places of worship
Waste from schools, charities and places of worship
Schools, charities residential hostels etc.
The council provides refuse and recycling collection services for charities, schools and other educational establishments, residential hostels, prisons and public halls used solely for public meetings. We only do this upon request and make a charge for refuse collections. The charge covers the approximate cost of collecting the waste but does not cover the cost of disposing of it.
Organisations interested in the refuse collection service that don't already receive it are encouraged to refer to a Government statement.
The council does not currently charge these organisations for recycling collection services.
