Aimhigher
Aimhigher supports the increased participation of under represented groups accessing higher education, particularly those students who will be the first in family to attend higher education.
Wandsworth Summer Uni
Wandsworth Summer Uni is part of the London-wide Summer Uni London program which aims to develop high quality, sustainable activities for young people aged 8-25, primarily during the summer holidays.
Foundation Learning
Foundation Learning covers all learning below level 2, and aims to bring greater clarity and coherence to the range of learning provision available at this level.
Diplomas
The Diploma is a new qualification for 14-19 year olds that combines theoretical study with practical experience. Diplomas will cover 17 subjects by 2011, related to different sectors of the economy.
Raising of the Participation Age
The Raising of the Participation Age (RPA) means that all young people will continue in education or training to 17 from 2013 and to 18 from 2015. This will be the first time in nearly forty years that the education leaving age has been raised.
