Other forms of patient involvement
The health overview and scrutiny committee is just one part of the overall arrangements for public involvement in the health service.
We also work alongside Patient and Public Involvement Fora for the Primary Care Trust and other NHS Trusts. These aim to ensure that the views of patient and the public are taken into account by health service managers and planners.
