We're keen to see local people organise street parties - it helps bring communities together.
Apply online to organise a street party
For street parties to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Queen's Coronation on the weekend of 1-2 June, there will be no charge to hold a street party. There will also be no charge for street parties to celebrate the Coronation Festival, which is organised for 11-14 July.
For street parties at any other time, the council will charge a reduced fee of £50.
This covers publishing public notices and other costs incurred by the council.
