Census 2011

The 2011 Census took place on Sunday 27 March 2011.

The Census provides important statistics about the population so that public services like schools, community centres, health facilities and emergency services can be planned around people's needs. Accurate information on the local population is essential for funding, planning and delivering local services. 2011 Census information will be available from July 2012.
