Community centres and facilities

We own two purpose built community buildings - the Open Door and Wilditch community centres -  and two public halls - Chatham Hall and the Civic Suite - which are available for hire or use by local residents.

Our housing department manages club rooms and our Libraries also have halls and meeting rooms available for private hire. 

There are also a number of independently owned community centres in Wandsworth who let a variety of rooms and provide a range of activities.

Depending on the facilities available at each each venue, you might be able to use them to:

• Hire space to have parties or meetings
• Take part in different activities for all ages
• Organise your own activity
• Learn to use a computer and take a course
• Get advice and information
• Meet friends or 
• Find out what is happening in your area
