How to use this website
This section of the site will give you hints and tips on how to make the most of the content and tools available on this site and help you to find your way around.
Search
We have Google Search on our site. You can search exactly like you would on the world's most famous engine. You can enter your search words in the top-right of any page and it will look for keywords in all sections of the website.
Try to make your search as specific as possible because if you just use a common word you may get hundreds of results.

Advanced search

Using the A-Z of services
You can get to the A-Z of Services from any page on the site. It is a definitive list of terms related to all our services, organised alphabetically.
Each term links to more detailed information on related services including contact details and related resources.
You can also use the handy search box which will find entries matching the word(s) you enter.
Using the categories
If you want to discover more of Wandsworth.gov.uk, you can find information by category. These categories can be found via a drop-down list on the home page and the top-left column of every page.
We have used the standard method of categorising information about local authority services on our site, which alllows you to navigate to pages on all the services we provide via multiple routes.
For example 'Council Tax' can be found found under Advice and Benefits, Council and Democracy, or Housing.
Using links to related content
Different types of content are displayed separately on the site but are linked using the Related icons on the bottom-left of each page. This allows us to keep everything clear and easy to navigate.
Use these links to find related forms, documents, faqs, events and more.
