We have £5,000 in our grant funding pot to give away each year.  

Terms and conditions

To submit an application to the fund, your project must:

1. Be based in the borough of Wandsworth;  
2. Have a project page on the "Project Dirt" website (www.projectdirt.com) or agree to create one if this application is successful; 
3. Post quarterly project performance updates on its Project Dirt web page and provide a brief end of project report if this application is successful;
4. Agree to receive possible press coverage and photo opportunities in the council's magazine, BrightSide and on the council's website;   
5. Help to achieve one or more of the environmental aims listed on the previous page and achieve these aims beyond the single household level; and
6. Have a nominated project administrator who is responsible for project delivery, providing suitable evidence of what any grant funding has been spent on and to whom any grant payments can be made.

Projects can be proposed by individuals and informal groups, not just groups formally incorporated as organisations or charities, but commercial organisations are excluded. 

We will carefully consider all applications. Those most likely to receive funding will be those that:

• Will deliver the biggest contribution to the above environmental aims
• Require only low levels of grant funding from the council
• Could be easily replicated elsewhere in the borough. 

The amount of funding awarded is at the discretion of Wandsworth Council officers. That decision is final and no correspondence can be entered into.   Funding may be given in advance of project costs being incurred, subject to the condition that it will be returned within three months should the project administrator fail to provide suitable evidence (e.g. receipts) confirming it has been used for the purpose outlined in the application.
