Q: After I submit my application, how long before I can expect to hear from you?
Answer:
For householder applications and other smaller scale developments, we endeavour to deal with your application within 8 weeks, although this is not always possible. An acknowledgement letter is sent to the Agent (or Applicant if there is no Agent) giving the 8-week date.
If we do not expect to be able to deal with it within 8 weeks we will explain the reasons to you. A reason for the delay might be that the application needs to be referred to the planning applications committee for decision.
