Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I submit electronic files of any size?
If you are using the Planning Portal to submit an application, or if you are submitting files to us on CD/DVD, you are asked not to submit any files larger than 5MB. The reason for this is that the documents are displayed on our website, and for accessibility reasons we have to restrict their size.
If you use the Planning Portal to submit an application to us, the total size of all your attachments cannot exceed 25Mb. Therefore when submitting major applications where the total size of the attachments will be in excess of this limit, please submit the whole application, including the form, to the council on CD/DVD.
Whether you are using the Planning Portal or not, if you are submitting electronic files, please download 'Applying for planning permission - essential downloads'. This contains the download 'General advice on submitting planning applications to Wandsworth', which includes advice on submitting electronic applications.
