Q: Do you consult with anyone else apart from the general public?

Answer:

We often seek the views of other organisations such as English Heritage and the Environment Agency, as well as local amenity societies and residents' associations. Who we consult with often depends on the location of the proposal. For example, the Environment Agency will be consulted on proposals in a flood risk area, and we consult the Wandsworth (conservation area) advisory committee on important applications in conservation areas or proposals which affect listed buildings (buildings of historic value).
