Q: How long will it take for me to be nominated for a property on the Shared Ownership Nominations Scheme (SONS)?

Q: What percentage of the property do I have to buy on the Shared Ownership Nominations Scheme (SONS)?

Answer:
Housing associations have variable shares available on each property. The most common percentage offered for sale is 50 per cent. However, sometimes shares of 25 per cent or 75 per cent are available.  The Housing Association will calculate the share that you can afford to buy, based on their financial appraisal.

Q: Why is Wandsworth Council running the Shared Ownership Nominations Scheme (SONS) now rather than the Housing Associations?
