Picture of Health exhibition

A Picture of health is an exhibition inspired by the memories of Wandsworth people working for the NHS in the 1950s-1970s,

The Wandsworth Council Community Development Team ran reminiscence workshops where retired NHS workers shared  memories of their working lives and the experience of coming to the UK in the 1950s onwards. Their stories have been set to poetry and illustrated by local Primary School  children and young patients at St Georges Hospital.

The Reminiscence Project and exhibition have been organised and funded by the the council's Supported Housing Services Community Development Team, with support from St George's Hospital.
