Battersea Bridge Green Christmas lights ceremony

Christmas tree lights switch-on, choir singing and carols

The lights will be switched on by the Mayor of Wandsworth, and the leader of the council Ravi Govindia will also be there.

Local charities Bonded Thru Cancer and the STORM Community Choir will sing.  

The event will help celebrate the opening up of the riverside walk. 

The event is being held by the council in association with the Royal College of Art and the Battersea Artists Quarter. 

Tideway art workshop

Make a collage which reflects what you like, value and treasure about King George's Park.

A previous workshop in Putney

Artist Emily Tracy will be working with the local community in Wandsworth to produce a piece of artwork for the hoardings around Tideway's King George‚Äôs Park site. This is a chance to contribute to the artwork.  

The workshop is free and you do not need to book, although places will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
