Trashcatchers carnival two day workshop

The Carnival comes to Tooting on 4 July and this workshop sees the carnival begin to take shape. Everybody can be involved to make the Trashcatchers Carnival the groundbreaking event of the decade.
Can you sew, stitch, design clothes; are you a good fundraiser, singer, dancer, builder? Do you know of a large warehouse where the carnival
floats can start to be built? Or a derelict office space to house the Trashcatchers Team and tell people what is going on.
The Carnival will create beauty from rubbish. Sculptures, costumes, musical instruments and floats will be designed, fabricated and animated from discarded materials.
