Wandsworth Council and Safe Network are offering the voluntary and community sector free workshops on keeping children safe.
Working in partnership with Children England it has a remit to take a much broader perspective on keeping children and young people safe, and focuses on four key areas that impact on children's safety
These are:
- Safer recruitment
- Child protection
- Anti-bullying
- Reducing avoidable accidents in the workplace.
This session will support organisations to:
- Become familiar with the 'Are they Safe' Toolkit
- Explore the Safe Network Standards
- Review their own organisation practice and needs around safeguarding
- Discover what support is available locally and nationally to support their safeguarding practices
All organisations attending the session will get the 'Are they Safe' toolkit.
