Christmas kicks off in Tooting with the official switching on of the Christmas tree lights on Wednesday November 30.
There will be a special ceremony from 4pm at St Nicolas' Church on the corner of Mitcham Road and Church Lane attended by the Mayor of Wandsworth, Cllr Jane Cooper. All local residents and businesses are invited to come along.
The tree is being provided by the Tooting Town Centre Partnership, with particular support from St Nicholas Church.and local business A-Plan Insurance.
Sellincourt Primary School Choir will be singing a selection of carols. The lights will be switched on by the winner of the school's Christmas painting competition
