Arts organisations across Wandsworth are opening their doors for tours, exhibitions and activities for all ages.

ALRA (The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts)

The Royal Victoria Patriotic Building, John Archer Way, www.alra.co.uk, Open from 10am to 12.30pm 

A drama school inside an historic building. Tours at 10.15am, 10.45am, 11.15am and 11.45am – just turn up.Information about the acting and stage management courses will be available.

BAC (Battersea Arts Centre), Lavender Hill, www.bac.org.uk. Open from 10am with tours at 11am & 3pm

‘If walls could talk…’ Uncover layers of the old town hall’s 124 year history with a free volunteer led tour inspired by personal stories and connections to the building. Then a talk at 1.30pm – Led by BAC staff with information about participatory projects and how you can get involved.

Tours of the building and a display of artwork as well as small taster performances from the KLS singers, dancers and theatre groups, either live or on DVD.

Omnibus Theatre, 1 Clapham Common North Side, www.omnibus-clapham.org

Come and enjoy an experiential back stage tour of this historic building with a personal soundscape. Each tour will last up to half an hour, starting at 1.30pm and 3.30pm. The current exhibition is Drawing Memory, a multi artist exhibition with free entry from 10.00am to 6.00pm and, in the theatre at 7.30pm you can catch The Faerie Thorn, based on Jane Talbot’s well-known book by the same name.
