| Description | Action for Blind People offers free, impartial information, advice and support to blind and partially sighted people, their families, friends and carers. It is a national charity which is now part of the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) Group. They provide a range of support, which covers the following areas and more: • Welfare rights advice services • Independent living services, including housing services • Technology • Counselling and emotional support • Employment services • A Low Vision Centre in central London • A range of other projects They can provide grants for blind and partially sighted people on low incomes.
