Wandsworth Carers Grant Scheme

The Carers Grant Scheme can provide a grant, up to a value of £250, for carers to use to achieve something that will help to improve their quality of life.

To be eligible to apply for the grant, you must be providing regular and substantial care to someone who:

• Is aged 18 or over; and
• Lives in Wandsworth; and
• Has received or is eligible for an assessment for social care support.

The grant must be used to contribute towards achieving something that will help to improve your quality of life as a carer in one or more of the following areas:

• Having a break from caring
• Organising caring and other responsibilities
• Staying healthy
• Having time for family and other relationships
• Staying fit and active
• Socialising and spending time with friends
• Having the chance to relax
• Keeping on top of your own domestic routines
• Being able to focus on work
• Pursuing interests and learning
