You're invited to a Wandle Trust River Cleanup

Where? Ravensbury Terrace, Earlsfield When? Sunday 14th January, 11am to 3pm

Wandle Trust River Cleanup

What is a Cleanup?

You will be joining a team of friendly volunteers to find and remove rubbish from the river. You can borrow a pair of waders and get in the river, or help pull up rubbish from the banks.

What to Expect?

The event will kick off at 11am with a Welcome Talk so please make sure you arrive in good time. Volunteers will then work through until 1pm when there will be a refreshments break, and then through until 3pm.

What to Wear?

The Wandle Trust's events take place no matter the weather (within reason), so please make sure you dress appropriately in old clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Please wear either wellies or walking boots as you will be working along the river bank where it can be muddy, wet and slippery.

What to Bring?

The Wandle Trust can supply chest waders, gloves and all the equipment needed for the cleanup but suggest you bring along spare clothes just in case. They also serve Teas and Coffees during the break and suggest you bring along a packed lunch and some water to drink

How to get there?

Earlsfield Station is a short walk away from the site and there are plenty of buses on Garratt Lane. Plan your journey with TFL's Route Planner.
Nearest Postcode: SW18 4RL
