Wandsworth Composting Project: Turn your food waste into valuable compost!

Find out how you can compost your kitchen waste - ie raw and cooked fruit and veg, but also meat, fish and dairy, the things you wouldn't normally put onto a conventional compost heap - and use it to feed your plants...

The Wandsworth Composting Project is being delivered by the Wendlesworth Residents’ Association and is supported by the Wandsworth Grant Fund/Wandsworth Council, the Wandsworth Environment Forum and the Western Riverside Waste Authority.  It aims to make composting easier for people in London Borough of Wandsworth! As well as offering support around the conventional 'cool' composting of garden waste, it  explores how to make usable compost from food waste using wormeries and 'hot' composting bins.
