You're invited to a Wandle Trust Cleanup

When? Sunday 11th June, 11am-3pm Where? Trewint Street, Earlsfield

What to expect

The Wandle in Earlsfield needs you this June! The Wandle Trust has received several reports of fly-tipping including a washing machine. You will find their tent set up on the Wandle Trail, just over the Trewint Street bridge.

As always, please arrive in time for our Health and Safety briefing at 11 am. Volunteers will then don waders on and work through until 3 pm with a break at about 1 pm for tea, coffee and refreshments provided by the Wandle Trust.  You may like to bring your own picnic lunch.

What to wear and what to bring
It is dirty work, so you are recommended to wear old clothes and sturdy footwear such as walking boots or wellies. You may wish to bring a change of clothes in case you get wet! Being January, it is also likely to be very cold, so pack some extra layers.

How to get there
The nearest station to the cleanup site is Earlsfield but there are also plenty of buses on Garratt Lane. Plan your journey with TFL's Route Planner.  If you get lost on the day, give me (Polly) a call on 07833 497599 and I will do my best to direct you.
