You're invited to a Wandle Trust Cleanup

When? Sunday 8th January, 11am-3pm Where? King George's Park

What to expect

For the first clean-up of 2017, volunteers will be heading to King George's Park in Wandsworth. You will find them set up in the park on the grassy area by the Nuffields Sports Centre, at the end of Lydden Road.  Meet here!

As always, please arrive in time for a Health and Safety briefing at 11 am. Volunteers will then work through until 3 pm with a break at about 1 pm for tea, coffee and refreshments provided by the Wandle Trust.  You may like to bring your own picnic lunch.

What to wear and what to bring
It is dirty work, so you are recommended to wear old clothes and sturdy footwear such as walking boots or wellies. You may wish to bring a change of clothes in case you get wet! Being January, it is also likely to be very cold, so pack some extra layers.

How to get there
Buses and trains are the best bet to reach King George's Park - plan your journey with TFL's Route Planner.  If you get lost on the day, call Polly on 07833 497599 and she will do her best to direct you.
