Wandle Trust community clean-up Sunday 14th August

When? 11am-3pm, Sunday 14th August Where? King George’s Park

The Wandle Trust invites you to join them and other local volunteers near the Lydden Road bridge by the Nuffield Sports Centre (Meet here!) to help remove litter and dumped rubbish from the River Wandle environment. Please arrive promptly for their Health & Safety briefing at 11am.

If you haven’t been before, they provide all the equipment needed (waders, gloves etc) but ask that you dress for outdoor work and wear sturdy shoes such as walking boots or wellies. They also provide teas and coffees during the lunch break at 1pm, but suggest you bring yourself a packed lunch.

If you have any questions before or on the day call The Wandle Trust's Event Organiser, Polly Bryant, on 07833 497 599.
