Wandsworth Environment Forum public meeting: RUBBISH, RECYCLING AND THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY

When? 7pm Tuesday 19th January Where? Room 123, Wandsworth Town Hall

 

Are you concerned about the amount of waste we produce in our consumer society? Do you think more should be done to minimise it?  Then come along to the Wandsworth Environment Forum's public meeting!  They have a number of interesting speakers lined up including:

Councillor Jonathon Cook, the Council's Deputy Leader and Cabinet member for the environment who will present on the Council's recycling services and waste minimization ambitions.

Sharon Ross, Deputy General Manager at the Western Riverside Waste Authority, who will talk about what happens to recyclable materials after collection by the Council.

A speaker from the London Sustainability Exchange who will talk about "The Circular Economy".
