You're invited to a Wandle Trust volunteer cleanup

When? Sunday 13th December 11am-3pm Where? King George's Park

The Wandle Trust will be setting up base in the park near the Lydden Road bridge by the Nuffield Sports Centre for this volunteer clean-up.

As always, please arrive in time for their Health and Safety briefing at 11am. Volunteers will work through until 3 pm with a break at about 1 pm for tea, coffee and refreshments (provided).  You may like to bring your own picnic lunch.

As always, the Council will collect any litter and rubbish volunteers remove.

What to wear and what to bring
It is dirty work, so you are recommended to wear old clothes and sturdy footwear such as walking boots or wellies. You may wish to bring a change of clothes in case you get wet!

How to get there
Several buses stop nearby. Numbers 44 & 270 on Garratt Lane and numbers 156 and 87 on Merton Road. Earlsfield is the nearest train station, a short walk to the park. Plan your journey with TFL Journey Planner
