Free residents’ tour of the facility that sorts your mixed recycling

When? 6.30pm – 9pm, Thursday 16th July Where? Waste Transfer Station, Smugglers Way, Wandsworth (next to the public tip)

 

Come and see how you mixed recycling is sorted out before being sent on to reprocessing companies that make recycled products.  This is done at the “Materials Recycling Facility” (or “MRF”, pronounced “MeRF”) in Smugglers Way, Wandsworth which uses a variety of mechanical and manual processes to separate the different materials.
