Growhampton Learn to Grow Sessions and Market Day Harvest Morning

When? Learn to Grow: 2-4pm, Wednesday 24th June. Market Day Harvest Morning: 10am-1pm, Thursday, 25th June. Where? Roehampton University (Meeting out the front of Lawrence Building on Froebel College SW15 5PJ

Learn to Grow sessions: Wandsworth residents are invited to join students and staff to learn how to grow. Growhampton work on an “edible campus” and volunteers are encouraged to do any gardening jobs that are required such as seed sowing, planting, screening compost and digging, sometimes even some harvesting!   Anyone with any level of experience is welcome to join in but please email in advance and note that these sessions run every Wednesday.  Get further information here.

Market Day Harvest Morning: Residents are also invited to join students and staff to harvest salad leaves and vegetables, blend salad and stir fry mixes together, bag them and label them ready for sale at a weekly farmers market. Residents are welcome to either the harvest morning, the farmers market, or both! Growhampton run this session each and every Thursday but please email to let them know you're coming or for further info if required. Get further information here.
