River Wandle volunteer cleanup

When? 11am-3pm Sunday 12th April Trewint Street, Earlsfield Where? Trewint St, Earlsfield

The Wandle Trust volunteers cleared this stretch in December but rubbish has returned, including a couple of motorbikes that need to be grappled out.  New volunteers are always welcomed!
As always, please arrive in time for a Health and Safety briefing at 11 am. After that it’s time to get your waders on with a break at about 1 pm for tea, coffee and refreshments provided by the Wandle Trust.  You may like to bring your own picnic lunch.

What to wear and what to bring: It is dirty work, so you’re recommended to wear old clothes and sturdy footwear such as walking boots or wellies. You may wish to bring a change of clothes in case you get wet!

How to get there: The nearest station to Trewint Street is Earlsfield. Buses 77, 44 and 270 stop at Isis Street (Stop Q) which is close to Trewint Street.  Meet here!
