Social services - hospice care

Hospices provide care for terminally ill people and give support to their caers, both in the hospice and at home.

Care managers working for the council work closely with the NHS and MacMillan Cancer nurses.

Care managers, MacMillan nurses and GPs all have lists of hospices that might be suitable and can discuss this with you if they think it's appropriate.
