Procurement policy

We routinely buy goods, services and works from external suppliers. This includes 'term' contracts of a total value in excess of £45 million per annum.

The way we do this varies according to what is being bought and the value of the purchase.  We seek to use open competition to ensure the goods, services and works we purchase are value for money, and to make sure that we continue to offer high quality services to local residents and businesses at prices they can afford.
