This excellent facility provides outdoor floodlit training areas for a number of sports.  It is open to the public in the evenings, weekends and during school holidays.  Outside of public opening hours, phone Tooting Bec Athletics Track on 020 8871 7171 for general enquiries or you can leave a message on Furzedown Recreation Centre answerphone and we will get back to you.

The facilities include:

• 1 large all weather 7-a-side playing surface - suitable for hockey and football measuring 51 metres x 32.5 metres.
• 1 multi-games hard court - marked for netball and basketball but which can also be used for a 5-a-side football, with a spectator viewing area.
• A 4 lane 80 metre synthetic sprint running track with a 7.8 metre long jump pit.
• Heated changing and showering accommodation with automatic vending.
• 3 floodlit tennis courts.
• Children's parties.
• Various children's clubs including football, tennis, tag rugby and cricket.

Childrens tennis courses 

Due to the refurbishment of the tennis courts all courses have been cancelled. The new course programme for 2009 will be available soon.
