We have 88 study places.

Anyone can use our sources of information, no membership is required. Stock cannot be borrowed but public photocopying facilities are available subject to copyright.

Our staff are experienced and skilled in answering enquiries using the Internet and online databases as well as printed sources.

The library contains standard reference works including encyclopaedias, a selection of English and foreign language dictionaries, telephone directories, atlases, biographical information, statistical tables, business directories and much more.

We work in partnership with other providers in the borough and beyond and if we do not have what you are looking for we will find someone who can help.

This fully searchable database of over 40 UK and US newspapers contains over 4 million articles with an archive extending to January 1996. It is updated daily and includes The Birmingham Post, Boston Herald, The Daily Mail, Daily Telegraph, The Evening Standard, The Independent, The Mail on Sunday, New York Times, The Scotsman and many more.
