'Lets bloom and grow together' This annual competition is organised by the parks service. The competition is designed to encourage local residents and businesses to improve their environment through the imaginative use of flowers, trees and shrubs. You don't have to be a seasoned gardener. You just need to be enthusiastic and give a little thought to how you could brighten up the appearance of your own front garden, window boxes, school, pub or business premises. Judges are looking for attractive displays that are visible to the passing public. Our competition gives you a chance to gain recognition and reward for your contribution. You can also enter the tallest and shortest sunflower growing competition and for those who are not so 'green fingered' there is the children's painting competition. "So get sowing, growing, hoeing and mowing" You can apply online (see below) or pick up an entry form from all Wandsworth libraries.
