Three Standing Figures by Henry Moore - 1947-48Public art in Wandsworth
Welcome to this guide to Public Art in Wandsworth. Although the Borough does not boast large numbers of public art, there are signifcant concentrations in Battersea Park, including Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth, and at St George`s Hospital in Tooting. Our guide is in its infancy, and therefore there may be some omissions, which we would be pleased to hear about.

For the purposes of the guide we have not included War Memorials (with the exception of Kennington`s sculpture in Battersea Park), grave monuments, architectural features, or work that is either in a non-public space or inside a building. We have also only included significant murals made by professional artists.

Thanks are due to Terry Cavanagh and the Public Monuments and Sculpture Association in the preparation of this guide.

If you wish to contact the arts office about the content of the guide please email arts@wandsworth.gov.uk
