Traffic management orders and other notices related to traffic and parking Traffic Management Orders are legal documents drafted and made (approved) by the Council which regulate the use of highways and off street parking areas within the Borough by drivers of vehicles and/or pedestrians. The effects of the orders are usually indicated by signs and lines marked on the highway surface. Regulations laid before Parliament require the Council to consult the police, emergency services, representative organisations and the public before any Order introducing or changing parking or traffic controls can be made and implemented. The period of time within which representations or responses are to be received by the Council depends on the nature of the Order(s) concerned and is specified in each notice.
The following notices were published as part of the consultation on the proposals described in the Wandsworth Borough Guardian on the date shown and also in the London Gazette on the same date when an order is to be made under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
