About the Transportation Section
We are responsible for the promotion of transport policy. This includes preparation of the Local Implementation Plan, which sets out our strategic vision for transport in the borough, taking account of the Mayor of London's Transport Strategy. We are also responsible for the implementation of a number of initiatives designed to promote greater use of public transport, cycling and walking.
