Sites of Importance for Nature Conservation
Falcon Park and Shillington Street Open Space are designated Sites of Local Importance. Two small open spaces, linked by arches in a viaduct and in an area rather deficient in accessible wildlife sites. Large numbers of mostly native trees have been planted, forming dense borders of scrub. An area of grassland is managed as a meadow.
