Resident and Business Permits are refunded for each complete calendar month remaining upon surrender and at different rates depending upon the permit type. Residents who have moved out of the borough either need to attend the One-Stop Counter to obtain a refund (see details below) or return the permit by post, enclosing a covering letter to tell us where to send the refund cheque. Refunds for business permits can only be made out to the company and not the individual vehicle driver. Resident Permit refunds Resident permits issued from 1 April 2007 will be refunded at £4.95 per month for 3,6 and 12 month permits. No refunds are available on the annual 'Greener' Resident Permit. PLEASE NOTE: Refunds on Resident Permits with 1 or 2 months of validity left on them are only available at the One-Stop Counter on the 5th Floor of the Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, SW18 2PU. The One-Stop Counter is open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, and from 9.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday. Applicants for refunds of 1 or 2 months are required to attend the counter and hand back their permits in order to obtain an immediate cash refund. Postal refunds for periods of 1 or 2 months are no longer available. Resident Permit refunds for periods of 3 months or more continue to be available by post.
