Apply for a parking permit
Application forms and guidance notes for each of the parking permits for use in the borough are available to download (in PDF format) below.

Please Note: controlled parking zone resident, visitor and business permits are not valid on housing estates where a separate Parking Regulation Scheme applies. If you would like advice about applying for a housing estate Parking Regulation Scheme permit please click here. The contact details for housing estate parking can be found under the heading "Area Teams".
Please visit our "Are you applying for the right permit?" page and read the relevant guidance notes before making your application, to make sure that you apply for the correct permit and include all the necessary documentation.
Resident permit renewal process
Annual resident permit holders whose circumstances have not changed since their previous application are no longer required to supply proof of residence and vehicle ownership on renewal of their permits. Instead, they are required to sign a declaration confirming that their circumstances have not changed.
However, resident permit holders who previously applied for a three or six month permit as they were not able to supply the required proofs of residency and vehicle ownership(e.g. because they had just moved into the area) must supply the required proofs on renewal. Residents whose circumstances have changed (e.g. change of address) must also supply proof of residence and vehicle ownership on renewal.
If you require any further information on the renewal process, please email permitprocessing@wandsworth.gov.uk, or contact the Parking Help line on (020) 8871 8871 (between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday or 9.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday), or freephone 0800 587 2605 (between 5pm and 6pm, Monday to Friday).
Please Note: If you do not receive a resident permit renewal form and reminder letter before your permit expires, please telephone the Parking Help line or email the Customer Services Section. The contact details are shown above.
It is the permit holder's responsibility to ensure that the permit is renewed in good time. However, a permit holder displaying an expired permit in his or her vehicle will be allowed a 7 calendar day grace period before parking tickets are issued.
Availability of parking spaces
A parking permit does not guarantee the use or availability of any parking space, and spaces may be suspended from time to time to enable domestic removals, works or special events to take place. If a suspension relates to an emergency it may not be possible to give advance warning. Drivers should always check that a bay is in operation both before parking and each day if the vehicle is to be left for longer periods. More information about bay suspensions is available elsewhere on this website.
