Driveway informatory marking
If you have a dropped crossing providing vehicular access to your property you can request the installation of a driveway informatory marking across your entrance to highlight the fact and to discourage obstructive parking. A driveway informatory marking is advisory only. It has no legal standing, but experience has shown it to be well observed by motorists. The cost of a driveway informatory marking up to 7 metres in length is £47. The marking extends 0.5 metre beyond the edges of the dropped crossing.
