Service performance Citizen's charter At present, we are achieving a two day turnaround for responding to a search and have taken steps to ensure that we continue to achieve this demanding target in the future. We also aim to guide personal callers when carrying out personal searches. The standards of the service which you can expect from us and what to do if you have a problem are set out in the Local Land Charges and Land and Property Gazetteer Citizen's Charter. Local Land Charges computer system As this work requires a great deal of input from the staff in the Local Land Charges Section and the Land and Property Gazetter Unit the policy of Personal Searches only being accepted from 9am to 12noon Monday to Friday is to continue until further notice. If you have any urgent searches during this period please let us know so that, if possible, we can try and accommodate your request to meet your deadline.
