Anti-fraud and Anti-corruption Strategy The Council has approved an Anti-Fraud and Anti-Corruption Strategy. Managers and staff of the Council should ensure that the requirements of the strategy are followed within their normal working routines.

Contact points and 'Whistleblowing' You can contact the Head of Audit - Phil Read on 020 8871 6450 or the Audit main office on 020 8871 6451 for all cases, with the following exception: For Housing and Council Tax Benefits where there is no suspected staff involvement contact the Income and Benefits Office (Benefits Fraud Group) on 020 8235 5343.
All staff have been given a copy of the "Whistleblowing Policy & Procedure - June 2007" which sets out how staff may voice any serious concerns within the Council. This includes special guidance for reporting possible fraud and corruption including a checklist of do's and don'ts.
