New health and care services watchdog
A new organisation has been launched in Wandsworth which gives local people the chance to have their say on local health and social care services.

People who join the Wandsworth Local Involvement Network (LINk) will be able to influence these important local services and ensure they deliver the right services to the wider community.

The Wandsworth LINk is one of 150 networks being created around England that will give individual people, voluntary agencies and a wide range of other community groups the chance to check how local NHS and social care services are being run, and ensure that when it comes to determining polices and priorities their views are taken on board.

The Wandsworth LINk is open to individuals who live in Wandsworth, or who are registered with a GP in the area, as well as representatives of groups or organisations that are active in the borough.

As a member of the LINk you can stand for election to its executive and also vote on its work programme and how it spends its resources.
