Poll Cards At the time of an election, full details of the election timetable and voting arrangements will be publicised widely. If you qualify to vote in an election, we will send you a poll card telling you the date and time of the election and the address of your polling station, there will also be a map on your poll card, showing you where the polling station is located.

Referendum on elected mayor When a local authority has received a valid petition, it shall hold a referendum, unless the petition is received within 48 months of the last referendum taking place or the local authority has already given notice of its intention to hold a referendum.
