How do I pay my Council Tax? When you have received your bill, you may pay your Council Tax in a variety of ways shown by the links below.
Wandsworth Council currently has the lowest council tax charge in the country which is achieved by keeping our costs low. Transactional costs are cheaper, it costs the council over £2.00 to deal with a cash transaction and 20p for a Direct Debit transaction. You can choose the payment date that suits you from a choice of five dates (4th, 11th, 15th, 18th or 25th of each month) and get the reassurance of the Direct Debit Guarantee.
If you want to join the thousands that already pay the easy way, simply download and complete the Direct Debit Mandate and return it to us. Or simply telephone us on our dedicated direct debit line with your Council Tax account number and bank details to hand. Call 020 8871 7799 and when prompted choose option one.
Please do not send the form to your Bank or Building Society because we have to process it first.
