For the Occupational Therapy service:

He said a really nice lady had phoned, who seemed to be able to understand what he was getting at and had arranged for a visit to look at the home and their place in it. He was truly really very, very, pleased, and said that it seemed to be just what he and his wife wanted. It is good when things do work! Thank you. SW11 "

For Community Care Social Work services and Home Care services:

• Wandsworth Social Services Rocks!!!
  I am very impressed.  I had reason to contact WSS as an emergency over the Bank Holiday weekend.  A neighbour, aged 91 was in dire need of help, and her usual neighbours who helped out and her nephew were all away on holiday.  I contacted the duty Social Worker on Sunday morning and on Monday morning, an emergency package for a delightful, feisty 91 year old lady was in place and operating smoothly!  Congrats all round!  Without WSS, I am sure that alone, this little lady would have died by the time her neighbours and nephew returned from holiday.  I wanted to help, but she lives on the first floor of a block of flats with no lift and I could not get up there.  Again, well done WSS!
