Ceremony cams

The register office is pleased to provide a service for couples marrying or forming a civil partnership in the ceremony rooms in the town hall, broadcasting images from weddings live on the internet. Friends and relatives across the world can log-on to see their loved ones on their special day.

We have two ceremony rooms, the Victoria room and the Alexandra room. Ceremonies held in these rooms can be viewed online subject to the agreement of the couple.*

The webcam service can be adversly affected by customer's connectivity and browser settings. Wandsworth Council have no control over these issues. The service does not include recording the ceremonies.

* Images from ceremonies will only be shown with the couple's consent. If the ceremony cam shows an empty room with a time in the top corner that does not change, the couple have declined the service and the camera has been switched off. Images refresh every five seconds and there is no audio.

We are also pleased to make available a virtual tour of the facilities available at the Register Office, allowing friends and relatives to view the room where the ceremony is to take place and couples thinking of marrying or forming a civil partnership at the register office a preview of what they can expect.

The award winning register office has been extensively and tastefully refurbished and offers some of the best facilities for parties in the UK. The 1930s art deco marble hallway, the courtyard fountain and the floral displays all make the perfect backdrop to memorable photographs.
