How are we performing?
The annual report on the performance of Wandsworth's Housing Service

Review of the year by cabinet member for housing, Cllr Martin D Johnson From 1 April 2007 to 31 March 2008.

Welcome to the housing department's Annual Report for 2007/2008. It's been a tremendous year in which the housing department was awarded a three star rating by the Audit Commission for its quality of services. In addition, we were also given three further Charter Marks for specific services, which include graffiti removal, estate services and warden services.

There have been a number of notable events including, the launch of a six new homes at Clarence Lane, Roehampton. Following a successful pilot, the Telecare service, which provides a range of sensor alarms in older and vulnerable residents' homes, was rolled out as a permanent service to residents in the borough.

In September, we celebrated the completion of Dimson Lodge sheltered community centre in Battersea. Residents representatives have attended the retained councils national conference and the opinions and views you expressed have helped to shape the future plans for housing.
